CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
The Parish of St Andrew is committed to intergenerational ministry, recognising the gifts and contributions of people of all ages.
Sunday School operates during our 9:30am service each Sunday morning (except in school holidays) and our leader is Mel Boerlage.
Once a term our young people remain in church to join in an intergenerational service involving all members of the St Andrew’s community.
Our goal is to understand and support the spiritual, social, and individual needs of children and young people in our community. The Sunday School environment is a safe, welcoming, accepting, social, and fun place for children and young people to explore Christianity through play. We aim to promote self-exploration and self-directed learning and to foster the development of lifelong friendships and support networks within the church.
Our Sunday School program is innovative, purposeful, collaborative, interactive, age-appropriate, engaging, and informative. Pop by and see for yourself!
In 2020 St Andrew’s has established a Junior Choir for Children aged 7-14 which will sing in parish services at regular intervals throughout 2020.
