ST ANDREW’S CHOIR

Music plays an important part in the worshipping life of the parish.

The Parish Choir

The parish choir consists of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. This Choir sings every Sunday at the 9.30am Choral Eucharist and Choral Evensong or other special services on occasions.

The Choir also presents concerts and sings in other parishes from time to time. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm – 9.00pm in the church. New recruits are most welcome are most welcome(a tune voice which blends is the only requirement!)

Choral Scholarships

These are available for secondary school and tertiary students to the value of $800 (tax free).

Junior Choir

For children aged from 8 years upwards, This group rehearses weekly and sings at the main service on approximately five/six occasions per term and at major Festivals. It also performs at concerts and at the annual carol service. A small scholarship is available for Junior choristers.
